In our workshops, children will discover the art of acting.
Through a variety of fun and engaging group exercises, they’ll learn to understand their emotions and use them as powerful tools for communication. They’ll explore the importance of relaxation, listening, energy, and imagination as they step into the shoes of different characters.
Portraying a wide range of roles gives them the chance to surprise themselves and express feelings they may not be used to welcoming—or might have forgotten how to. Gradually, they’ll begin working on short scripted scenes from films. In doing so, they’ll build confidence, grow more independent, and be encouraged to bring out the best in themselves in a supportive and joyful environment.
Over the course of the year, we’ll prepare scenes for each child. In June, these scenes will be filmed under real shooting conditions with professional equipment. After post-production (editing, sound, color correction) over the summer, we’ll host a screening in September where children can proudly share their work with family and friends.
At the heart of every actor is a child who just wants to play.
And in every child, there’s a remarkable actor ready to tell us incredible stories.
